Victorious contestants of the Iowa Science Olympiads (held at Coe College) from Ames Middle School and Ames High School, accompanied by their coach Peg Barbour, described what this "track meet for science students" is like. Barbour founded the Science Olympiads in Iowa and has led the Ames Middle School to 20 victories in 23 years and Ames High School to 22 victories and no defeats. They will now contimue to the nationals. Brynna Bargefield, Nathan Chen, Amy Yang, and Kalib Kong described some of the tests and concepts they encountered.
