Renee McLaughlin then told us about A Tiny House and Simple Living Festival taking place in Colfax on September 22-24.
And finally we heard from Darrin Crow, featured storyteller from Story City's annual Story Festival, who will entertain at venues throughout the three-day festival September 14-16. Other events include "Putnam County Spelling Bee" put on by Judge Story Theatrical Troupe and Tom Milligan's impersonation of Ding Darling, Pulitzer Prize winning Tribute Cartoonist, noted for his environmental themes.
