Clean Water Radio, episode 2: Engaging Farmers

Dr. Jacqueline Comito is our special guest for this edition of Clean Water Radio, focusing on the central role farmers play in cleaning up our state's waters. Jackie co-manages Iowa Learning Farms, an ISU Extension program which conducts farm days for farmers and on-farm research, and she directs Water Rocks!--an education program that brings music and children into the mix.

We talk to Tim Smith, a farmer who discovered that the runoff from his farm was not as nutrient-free as he would like.

Roger Wolf of the Iowa Soybean Association, who describes the organization's water monitoring program and expresses its evidence-based philosophy for Iowa's Nutrient Reduction System.
