Platting Day, Mary Greeley Medical Center, ISU Veterans Center

Chrystal Davis from the Ames Chamber of Commerce and the Ames 150 Committee and Casey Vance from the Ames History Center explain Ames Platting Day and the time capsule. Submissions for the time capsule will be accepted until December 31 by the Ames History Center.

Jeff Johnson, director of the ISU Alumni Association spoke at the final celebration about Ames' future and part of his speech is played here.

Jathan Chicoine, Iowa State University Veterans services coordinator, describes the ISU Veteran Center's recent designation as Certified Higher Academic Military Partner as part of the Home Base Iowa Act. The center is located at Room 3578 in the ISU Memorial Union

Music was from Ames Chamber Artists. They will be performing their annual holiday concert, called SING IN EXULTATION on Friday night at 7:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Boone and again on Saturday December 20th at 7:30 PM at the Northminster Presbyterian Church in Ames.
